1. Don't give up too early. My mind didn't settle in well until I reached the paragraph more than half-way through that talked about something more serious than coldness of heart - then I was able to take these thoughts back and reconsider the first part of the chapter.
2. What do you do if you find yourself with a 'veil on your heart'? Tozer isn't talking about 'emotionalism' here - emotions can be treacherous in the spiritual realm - what sort of result is he steering us towards?
3. Jesus used to tell very confusing parables and end with the words: 'He who has an ear, let him hear.' What result was he looking for? Why is this question relevant to our current situation?
